Membership Committee
Charges:
• Establishes goals, both immediate and long-range, for membership development.
• Annually reviews Membership Benefits provided by the HCHBA
• Identifies and recruits new members of the association and promotes involvement in association programs and activities.
• Plan and conduct programs for membership development and retention within established budget.
• Provides for appropriate recognition of new members and their sponsors. Oversees the awarding of Spike Club credits
• Coordinates membership promotions with NAHB and state contests and drives.
• Reviews and selects membership materials available from NAHB and other sources.
• Recommends and assists in the production of local membership materials and brochures.
• Identify the networking needs of the association’s membership.
• Determine format, timing, and venue of recurring Association programs and activities such as monthly Mixers, Dinner Meetings, etc.
• Determine Host/Co-Host sponsorship amounts and market to the members of the association.
• Develop and recommend to the Finance Committee a budget of programs and activities as a non-dues revenue project for the association.
• Promote the attendance of the programs and activities.
