The Hill Country Community Needs Council has reached out about a great, hands-on volunteer opportunity. Volunteers are needed to renovate a mobile home to make it handicap accessible (hall, bathroom, deck, and ramp) for a family that has suffered a major setback following a car accident. The Needs Council had been looking for quite some time for an affordable house for this family, and they are thrilled about their new home. It just needs some tweaking. The project is set to begin on July 16.
